Mrs. Peterson

Hello and welcome!

I am very excited to be teaching at Goodhue Public School again this school year as the K-12 Art Teacher. In December 2013, I graduated from UW- Eau Claire with a degree in Art and Design Education. As part of my education at UWEC, I explored a wide variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and more. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Central Europe in the summer of 2012 as part of my course work. While there, I studied and experienced first-hand the art history of Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary.

This year at Goodhue, Kindergarten classes will have art every other week for forty minutes. First through sixth grade art will meet once per week for forty minutes each session. Seventh and eighth grade will have art every day for one quarter of the school year. High school art classes will meet every day during their scheduled high school hour.

Please feel free to come visit me in my room (#114), or contact me through phone or email.
