Biography

Ms. Sue Gorman

I grew up on a dairy farm in southern Wisconsin where I was very involved and active my local and state FFA chapter. I attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and obtained a degree in Food Science and Technology. I worked as a food microbiologist at an independent lab and fluid milk processing plant before going back to the University of Minnesota to obtain my Agricultural Education teaching certification. I have also had the opportunity to workk as a meat inspector for the state of Minnesota Department of Agriculture. I was fortunate to complete my student teaching right here in Goodhue! I started teaching agriculture in 2007 and have enjoyed watching young people develop into confident, self-assured, hard-working young adults through all the opportunities of career and technology education and FFA. I have 3 wonderful children that are invovled in many activities. My hobbies include training for various running races and triathlons, volunteering and anything with my children.
