Mark Opsahl is the proud parent of Ben, Kate and Will. Together with Paula, the five enjoy quality time volunteering, playing sports, coaching, and spending time outdoors.

After graduation from the Hamline University, he worked at Goodhue Elementary for one and a half years in fourth grade. He moved to Burnsville where he taught sixth grade at the Farmington Middle School for eight years and pursed in Master's Degree in Education. Mark moved to Champlin, MN to teach fifth grade at Champlin Elementary School, during this time he worked on his Administrative Degree.

He became principal at Goodhue Elementary in 2001. Since earning his Master's and Administrative Degree, Mark has been a member of MESPA, SE Principal's Association and Coaches Associations. He also has coached Girls and Boys Basketball, traveling baseball and softball teams and has been the Head Girls and Boys Cross Country Team.
