Classes

Beginning Guitar-This class is a basic introduction to playing guitar. No previous music classes are needed beyond elementary music. I will teach you how to read music again! We will also work with tab, learn chords, finger picking and more. My goal is to teach the skills needed to be able to pull out songs students want to learn how to play. Acoustic or electric guitars are welcome!

Elementary Choir-Students learn how to sing beginning harmonies, train their ears, eyes, and voices to follow music, and work on basic healthy singing techniques.

Jr. High Choir-Students learn how to sing 3-part harmonies as they continue their reading skills, ear training and vocal development. Students will learn to sing a variety of music as they work on teamwork skills.

Concert Choir-Students will sing in 3-4 parts as voices continue to develop. Any 9-12 grade students make-up this choir. Previous choir enrollment is encouraged as music is too difficult to learn by ear. Students will learn a variety of music and perform at a variety of venues.

Chamber Choir-This is a performance focused choir consisting mainly of juniors and seniors. Students must complete 1 year of Concert Choir as a prerequisite. Students will need a high level of music reading skills. Students will sing in 4-8 parts. Students will sing a variety of music at a variety of venues.
